Most Active Member Award Recipients

THE OUTSTANDING MEMBER AWARD        

by the

ILLINOIS ASSOCIATION OF WASTEWATER AGENCIES

            This award, representing the recipient’s outstanding contribution of time, energy and expertise over a notable period to his or her community or to the Association, shall be presented by the Illinois Association of Wastewater Agencies on behalf of those who have strived to improve the quality of the environment through waste water treatment and on behalf of the people of the State of Illinois.

             Each member agency is requested to submit one nominee to the Awards Committee.  Included with their selection a brief biographical background and qualities that generated their selection should be submitted.  The names of the recommended nominees will be forwarded to the Executive Committee who shall make the final decision.

             The nominees from whom the award recipient is selected shall come from members of the association.  They must, however, have their names presented to the Awards Committee by either a member agency or a member of the Awards Committee.  Only one nominee per member or committee member shall be submitted.  Along with each nomination for consideration, there should be a background of qualities and time of service which generated their nomination.

             When the selection has been finalized, the recipient shall be contacted by the Executive Committee and notified of his or her selection and invited tot he annual banquet to receive the award.

             The presentation of the award shall be made by the President of the Association or a member of the Association Executive Committee.
